U.S. Bellows custom designed tied universal expansion joints for an oil refinery in Dubai. The expansion joints are fabricated from 304 stainless steel and range in diameter from 6″ to 30″. They are designed for 5/8″ lateral movement and 51 psi at 230°F. Each unit was dye penetrant examined and hydro-tested prior to shipment.

U.S. Bellows, Inc. custom designed this 32″ diameter elbow pressure balanced expansion joint for a manufacturing facility in Midway, Tennessee. The bellows, cover and liner are all fabricated from stainless steel. The unit is 10′-4″ long and designed for 350°F. The expansion joint is designed for 1/8″ axial and 1/4″ lateral movement. A dye penetrant exam and hydro-test at 53 psig was preformed prior to shipment.

U.S. Bellows designed and manufactured this 24″ diameter by 140-3/16″ OAL custom elbow pressure balanced expansion joint for a chemical plant in Missouri. The pipe and weld ends are fabricated from 347 stainless steel. The liner, tie rod lugs and end plates are fabricated from 304-H stainless steel. The bellows are Incoloy 800H. This expansion joint is designed for 2.6″ axial compression and 170 psig at 1200°F. The bellows longitudinal seams were 100% x-rayed, and the entire unit was dye penetrant examined and hydro-tested at 255 psig prior to shipment.
